Fee payment Schedule

In determining the cost, we will spend time with a representative from your company and gather specific information about the project to ensure that your requirements are understood and achievable. During this phase we may recommend some additional functionality that had not previously been considered. This is an important aspect of the planning process and ensures that your expectations will be met. Once the project has been properly scoped, we will provide a firm written quotation outlining the costs involved.

Development of your database software commences once you have provide us with a formal acceptance of the quotation, and have paid a deposit in an amounting equivalent to 25% of the quoted development cost.  If for any reason on the part of GI Business data solutions we are unable to complete the project, the deposited amounts will be fully refunded . 

As the project progresses, your representative will receive updates and sample program fragments to review. During this process minor changes to the specifications may occur as you become more familiar with the capabilities of an Access relational database, and as we become more familiar with your business practices. Changes are not only Okay, but are encouraged at this point.

Nearing the final development stages a beta version of the database application will be provided for testing. Communication between us is extremely important at this stage. Also at this stage, a further progress payment equivalent to 50% of the project cost is payable.

A two week period of actually using the application will enable you to advise us of any issues requiring attention, or any additional functionality that you may want. As long as the changes are not major new additions (outside the scope of the original project), there is no additional charge for minor changes. The residual project fee is due and payable on delivery of the final working version of the database.

Once the project is completed, our relationship does not end. We stand behind our work and continue to provide any technical advice or support you require.
